Return to NYC!

Well, I made my triumphant return to New York this week in time to see my former students before they graduate from 8th grade and scatter all over the city for high school. It was great to get back and see them, and even better to get back and see friends. Honestly, it didn't feel like a minute had gone by since I last saw everyone, though obviously so much distance, time, and travel have passed.

Many memorable nights in the span of a week, and the desire to get back here soon.

As of the taking of this picture (earlier this afternoon), only James and I don't live in NY. A month from now, Amanda, Currie, and Freddie will also be moving on to other places. Strange.
