Cambodia Pictures on the Blog!

Hello. We are now in Singapore having crossed the border from Malaysia early this morning. This afternoon we meet Tom and Heidi here, and then we fly to Sri Lanka late tonight.

It's been raining more lately. Yesterday we were caught in a fantastic lightning storm in Kuala Lumpur, which was a fantastic place to hang out for a few days as it worked out. Some great photos of that will be coming soon.

In the meantime, check out the organized (but not completely titled or captioned) photos from Cambodia. Some incredible photos of the temples of Angkor and photos from a ludicrous (ie sketchy, possible dangerous) boat trip we took to Battambong, that involved several collisions, a few wrong turns, and getting stuck in the mud for 40 minutes at a time. Great adventure. Cambodia is very much the DEVELOPING world.

As our cab driver told us (as he skillfully dodged potholes the size of buffaloes), "I like George Bush because he believes in human rights and freedom." Gives you some perspective (2 million Cambodians were killed during the Khmer Rouge government in the late 80s, early 90s and the place is obviously just now beginning to recover).

Anyhow, check out the photos. Drop an email. And hope everything is well on the homefront.
