Why Sweet Rumen?

Alright, so here's the deal, folks. My people are spread out all across the country, and some of you are moving further. It is rare now, that I ever get to see an entire "set" of friends all together in the same place at the same time. Which sucks. Phone calls and emails back and forth tend to be more about what's up and going on in our lives, than what's going on around us. Discussing what is going on around us was probably the reason I wanted to be friends with most folks in the first place. This space can be that place. We can discuss the affairs of the world from our corners of it, but be guaranteed that among our friends, there is a discussion going on, all the time, about things that matter to us in place and time.
